1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Tool Bakery website (“the Site”) and any of its utilities (“Tools”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. License to Use the Tools
We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free licence to use the Tools for personal or commercial tasks, provided you:
- do not resell or re-host any Tool without our written consent;
- do not remove or alter any brand notices;
- comply with Section 5 (Prohibited Conduct).
3. Intellectual Property
All original code, graphics, and text on the Site are copyright © The Tool Bakery 2025 unless stated otherwise. You retain ownership of any data you input; we claim no rights to user-supplied lists, numbers, or text.
4. User Content & Data Handling
Tools run primarily in-browser. Input you supply is processed on-the-fly and not stored on our servers, except transiently in RAM or logs for debugging or abuse-prevention.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to obtain source code outside the provided licence.
- Use automated scripts or bots to overwhelm the Site (rate-limit modest automation).
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Misrepresent the Site as your own or remove branding when embedding results.
Violation may result in IP blocking or legal action.
6. No Warranty
The Site and all Tools are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that outputs are error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose (though Chef Mega does his best).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Tool Bakery shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of—or inability to use—the Site or Tools.
8. Third-Party Links & Ads
Tools may display outbound links or advertising. We are not responsible for the content, privacy, or practices of external sites; clicking is at your own discretion.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Revised terms become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ontario.
